Abstract: This topic discusses the role of reading skills in the educational learning process; the learner starts their education in educational institutions without possessing any scientific or linguistic competencies. Throughout their pedagogic journey , the learner acquires a set of skills and competencies derived from activities conducted within the classroom. Among these linguistic skills is reading. This skill has various types, including silent reading, which helps learners develop concentration and patience in reading texts.
