C’est ce besoin de restituer une voix souveraine qui nous motive à étudier l’oeuvre d’Isabelle Eberhardt, et plus précisément son roman Rakhil, qui explore les tensions identitaires dans l’Algérie coloniale. Le roman Rakhil se concentre sur la souffrance et la lutte d’une héroïne en quête d'identité, vivant sous la domination absolue de l'autorité paternelle et prisonnière d'un mariage forcé analysé comme une transaction déshumanisante. Privée de sa liberté de choix, Rakhil refuse de se plier aux lois sociales et choisit la rupture radicale par l’errance dans les bas-fonds du port de Bône et l'immersion spirituelle dans l'Islam. Cette oeuvre devient le porte-parole d'une quête de liberté absolue où la mort n'est plus une défaite, mais l'ultime libération de l'âme face à une société aliénante. Abstract (English) Since the end of the 19th century, women's literature has provided an essential path for testifying to the condition of women, particularly in societies marked by rigid patriarchal and religious structures. It is this need to restore a sovereign voice that motivates us to study the work of Isabelle Eberhardt, specifically her novel Rakhil, which explores identity tensions in colonial Algeria. The novel Rakhil focuses on the suffering and struggle of a heroine in search of identity, living under the absolute domination of paternal authority and imprisoned in a forced marriage analyzed as a dehumanizing transaction. Deprived of her freedom of choice, Rakhil refuses to comply with social laws and chooses a radical break through wandering in the slums of the port of Bône and spiritual immersion in Islam. This work becomes the spokesperson for a quest for absolute freedom where death is no longer a defeat, but the ultimate liberation of the soul in the face of an alienating society. Key words: female condition, social alienation, quest for the absolute, freedom, wandering. لملخص )العربية ( منذ نهاية القرن التاسع عشر، فرض أدب المرأة نفسه كفضاء جوهري للشهادة على وضعية النساء، لا سيما داخل البنى الأبوية والدينية المتصلبة. إن هذه الحاجة الملحة لاستعادة صوت سيادي هي ما دفعنا إلى دراسة نتاج إيزابيل إيبرهاردت، .، التي تستكشف توترات الهوية والمجتمع في الجزائر المستعمرة"راحيل"وبالأخص روايتها الضوء على معاناة بطلة تكافح من أجل هويتها، حيث ترزح تحت السيطرة المطلقة للسلطة الأبوية، "راحي ل"تسلط رواية وتعيش حبيسة زواج قسري لا يعدو كونه صفقة تجارية تجردها من إنسانيتها. وإذ تُحرم راحيل من حقها في الاختيار، ترفض الخضوع للقوانين الاجتماعية وتختار القطيعة الجذرية عبر التيه في أحياء ميناء "بونة" الفقيرة والانغماس الروحي في الإسلام لقد أصبحت هذه الرواية لسان حال للبحث عن حرية مطلقة، حيث لا يعتبر الموت فيها انكساراً، بل هو التحرر الأسمى للروح .في مواجهة مجتمع استلابي .الوضع النسوي، الاستلاب الاجتماعي، البحث عن المطلق، الحرية، التيه :الكلمات المفتاحيةfrThesis
