Abstract
ملخص:
تبحث هذه الأطروحة في "أثر التيا ا رت المسرحية الأوروبية على تطور المسرح العربي"
منذ بدايات احتكاكه بالثقافة الغربية في القرن التاسع عشر وحتى الزمن المعاصر، ينطلق
البحث من تحليل الظ ر وف التاريخية التي مهدت لدخول المفاهيم المسرحية الأوروبية إلى
العالم العربي، مثل حركة الترجمة والبعثات العلمية، وتفاعل النخب المثقفة مع الفكر الغربي،
ويركز على أبرز التيا ا رت المسرحية الأوروبية كالكلاسكية والرومانسية والواقعية والملحمية
والمسرح السياسي، وستعرض كيفية تمثلها داخل التجارب العربية.
كما يتناول البحث تجليات التأثير في أعمال رواد المسرح العربي، ويقا رن بين أشكال
التلقي العربي لهذه التيا ا رت مظه ا ر محاولات التوفيق بينها وبين الخصوصية الثقافية العربية،
ويخلص إلى أن المسرح العربي لم يكن مجرد متلق سلبي، بل أعاد إنتاج هذه التيا ا رت وفق
رؤية محلية، مما أسهم في تشكيل هوية مسرحية عربية تجمع بين التأثر والإبداع الأصيل.
Abstract:
This thesis explores “the impact of European theatrical movements on the development of Arab theatre” from its early encounters with Western culture in the nineteenth century to the contemporary period. The study begins by analyzing the historical conditions that paved the way for the introduction of European theatrical concepts into the Arab world, such as the translation movement, scientific missions, and the interaction of intellectual elites with Western thought. It focuses on the major European theatrical movements—Classicism, Romanticism, Realism, Epic theatre, and Political theatre—and presents how these movements were reflected within Arab theatrical experiences.
The research also examines the manifestations of this influence in the works of the pioneers of Arab theatre and compares the different forms of Arab reception of these movements, highlighting attempts to reconcile them with Arab cultural specificity. It concludes that Arab theatre was not merely a passive recipient, but rather reinterpreted these movements through a local perspective, thereby contributing to the formation of an Arab theatrical identity that combines both external influences and authentic creativity.
