Abstract
This study focused on strains of Enterobacteriaceae producing betalactamases extended spectrum (ESBL) in the central laboratory of
Microbiology of the University Hospital of Batna and laboratory Grande
Clinic Mezdaouet Khenchela. These strains were isolated from various
samples (urine, blood, pus) has been the subject of a classic study with
enrichment steps, isolation and identification. 53 strains belonging to
four species were divided according to several parameters (sampling,
age, sex, month and services). Klebsiella spp is the most isolated (47%)
species, followed by Escherichia coli (28%). The majority of strains
were isolated from pus, in men, in patients aged birth to nine years in
service burned in two and a half months of 2013. The ESBL-producing
strains are usually hospital (75%) compared to external strains (25%).
The synergy between AMC records and C3G obtained by several
techniques (Double disc (Spanish test), reconciliation and cloxacillin
disk test).
