Abstract
Abstract Biochemical response of chlorophyll to the barite The study was conducted in the region of Ain Mimoun located in the wilaya of Khenchela where the forest is subject to industrial constraints of operating barite industry and at the Chelia mount such as blank. Cedar is a noble species of heights Aures for its adaptive property and resistance to harsh factors in the presence of pollutants in the ecosphere. We did some sampling of cedar needles of different stations, on which an analysis of chlorophylls is carried out in the laboratory of the faculty of nature sciences and life. Similar concentrations between sampling sites, far and near the polluted area were found. Because of the altitude location of the studied species and density barium, the results showed very similar concentrations of chlorophyll in all considered sites. Specifically, the air pollution in the study area may not be the factor which is due the decline of cedar in the region. Specifically, the air pollution in the study area is not the factor that the decline in the cedar in the study a..a.
