| dc.description.abstract | Résumé Depuis ses débuts à nos jours, le cinéma, toujours en quête d'extraordinaire et de fascinant, a traité le thème de la folie. Qu'il soit un savant fou dans Docteur Mabuse (1922) de Fritz Lang, ou Frankenstein (1935) de James Whale, ou qu'il soit psycho- ou sociopathe dans Psychose (1960) d'Hitchcock ou Shining (1980) de Kubrick, les exemples sont innombrables. Dans cet article, nous traiterons de la schizophrénie dans le cinéma. Dans un premier temps, nous essayerons d'identifier les éléments sociologiques, économiques et esthétiques qui ont suscité l'intérêt du cinéma pour cette maladie. Ensuite, et à travers l'analyse filmique de trois films (Psychose, Shining, Fight Club), nous verrons comment les réalisateurs ont-ils pu la rendre attrayante aux yeux du public. Enfin, nous conclurons avec le thème du « double en tant que même >> au cinéma. Abstract - From its beginnings to the present day, cinema, always in search of the extraordinary and the fascinating, has dealt with the theme of madness. Whether he's a mad scientist in Doctor Mabuse (1922) by Fritz Lang, or Frankenstein (1935) by James Whale, or whether he's a psycho or sociopath in Psycho (1960) by Hitchcock or The Shining (1980) of Kubrick, the examples are innumerable. In this paper, we will deal with schizophrenia in cinema. First, we will try to identify the sociological, economic and aesthetic elements that have aroused the interest of cinema for this disease. Then, and through the film analysis of three films (Psycho, Shining, Fight Club), we will see how the directors were able to make it attractive to the public. Finally, we will conclude with the theme of the "double as same" in cinema. | |
