Abstract
ملخص:
لطالما ربطت الرّواية والسينما علاقة تكاملية، حيث تستلهم كلّ منهما من الأخرى. فالسينما، منذ
بداياتها، وجدت في الرّواية مصدرا غنيا لأعفكار والشصصيات التي تحولت إلى صور متحرّكة على الشاشة.
نجيب محفوظ، مثلاً، يعدّ نموذجً ا بارزًا لهذه العلاقة، إذ حظيت رواياته بشهرة واسعة بعد تحوي لِها إلى أفلام،
م ا ساهم في نقل قصصه إلى قاعدة جماهيرية أكبر وأوسع. هذه العملية الإبداعية -تحويل الرواية إلى فيلم
-تثير تساؤلات حول كيفية انتقال العناصر الروائية من الورق إلى الشاشة، وكي تتأثر هذه العناصر بتقنيات
السينما المصتلفة، مثل المكان والزمان والشصصيات والأحداث.
ومن هذا المنطلق سعت هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على هذه الجدل يّة بغية الوقوف على
عملية الأفلمة وتحويل أعمال روائية إلى عوالم السينما، معتمِ دين على نماذج لرواياتِ الأديب المصري نجيب
محفوظ حُوّلت إلى أعمال سينمائية، وذلك للإجابة عن الإشكالية المحورية لهذا البحث وهي: كي تجلى
التقاطع الأيقوني واللساني من خلال نقل روايات نجيب محفوظ إلى عوالم السينما؟ وذلك للوقوف على
عملية الأفلمة وما يطرأ عليها من تح وّلات في أبرز عناصرها من مكان وزمان وشصصيات وأحداث، وكي
تتعامل السينما مع هذه العناصر وتنقلها من الرواية إلى عوالم السينما.

Abstract:
The novel and cinema have long been intertwined in a symbiotic relationship, each drawing inspiration from the other. Since its inception, cinema has found a rich source of ideas and characters in the novel, which have been transformed into moving images on the screen. Naguib Mahfouz, for example, is a prominent exemplar of this relationship, as his novels gained widespread acclaim after being adapted into films, thereby disseminating his stories to a broader audience. This creative process of transforming a novel into a film raises questions about how narrative elements transition from the page to the screen, and how these elements are influenced by various cinematic techniques such as space, time, characters, and events.
From this perspective, this study aims to shed light on this dialectic in order to understand the process of film adaptation and the transformation of literary works into cinematic worlds. It does so by examining adaptations of novels by the Egyptian writer Naguib Mahfouz. The central research question is: How is the iconic and linguistic intersection manifested in the adaptation of Naguib Mahfouz's novels into cinematic worlds? This study seeks to understand the process of film adaptation and the transformations that occur in its key elements, such as space, time, characters, and events, and how cinema handles these elements and transfers them from the novel to the cinematic world.
