Abstract
Résumé :
L’objectif de notre étude était d’évaluer la qualité des eaux de dix puits, à usage
domestique, de la région de Khenchela. La caractérisation physico-chimique a montré des
eaux dures (50 à 58°F) avec une minéralisation élevée (1500 à 2321 mg/l) pour le 40% des
échantillons. Les eaux du deuxième puits étaient riches en nitrates (52.54 mg/l). Les tests
bactériologiques reflètent une contamination fécale pour le premier échantillon, avec la
présence d’E.coli. Le taux des coliformes totaux a dépassé les normes pour le deuxième puits
(11 germes/100ml). Une absence totale des streptocoques fécaux, des Clostridium sulfitoréducteurs
et des salmonelles a été enregistrée pour les dix échantillons. Ces résultats sont
inquiétants vu l’usage des eaux de ces puits pour la boisson
Abstract :
The objective of our study was to evaluate the water quality of ten wells, for domestic
use, in the region of Khenchela. Physico-chemical characterization showed hard water (50 to
58 °F) with high mineralization (1500 to 2321 mg/l) for 40% of the samples. The waters of
the second well were rich in nitrates (52.54 mg/l). The bacteriological tests reflect a faecal
contamination for the first sample, with the presence of E.coli. Total coliform levels exceeded
the standards for the second well (11 germs/100ml). Total absence of faecal streptococci,
Clostridium sulphito-reducers and Salmonella was recorded for the ten samples. These results
are worrying given the use of water from these wells for drinking.
