dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT The aim of this study is to investigate the most common recurrent grammatical errors made by EFL Second Year Licence learners and their causes in their writing productions at the University of Abbes Laghhrour University . This study follows the descriptive design with quantitative and qualitative method of data analysis A questionnaire was addressed to 46 second year students during their classes. Based on the overall results obtained from the research instrument, it was found that students believe that scoring higher in written expression is conditioned by mastering English grammar. Moreover, the findings of this research work demonstrate that the concerned participants are partially aware about their grammatical errors.
