dc.description.abstractBusiness Process Model and Notation (BPMN) provides a standard graphical language that can be used by business analysts to model business process collaborations. The main objective of this work is to propose an approach for transforming BPMN business processes in terms of Promela language. The idea of taking each BPMN element and corresponding to it an equivalent Promela code. Promela is a language that is used as input for the SPIN checker pattern. This step is essential for any formal veriļ¬cation of the BPMN processes.
