Abstract This work focuses on studying the US foreign policy towards Libya after the Libyan revolution and the overthrow of the Gaddafi regime. The dissertation examines whether the US foreign policy succeeded in achieving its objectives in Libyan and whether it promoted national security and stability matters in Libya during the Biden administration. It is found that after US and NATO intervention in Libya, the country experienced a period of chaos of security breakdown. Since then it was used as center for terrorist activities. This led to a slowdown in the transitional process and stability in the country.
