dc.description.abstractالملخص : هدفت الدراسة الحالية للتعرف على العلاقة بين الشعور بالسعادة والرضا عن الحياة عند كبار السن . كما سعت لتحديد مستوى كلا من الشعور بالسعادة والرضا عند كبار السن. اعتمدت الدراسة في ذلك على المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي حيث ضمت عينة الدراسة (70) مسنًا، تترواح أعمارهم بين 60 سنة فما فوق. وتم استعمال قائمة السعادة الحقيقية لمارتن سليجمان وكريستوفر بترسون (2002) والتي قننها بشير معمرية، ومقياس مجدي محمد الدسوقي للرضا عن الحياة، وقد توصلت الدراسة للنتائج التالية: مُستوى الشعور بالسعادة عند كبار السن مرتفع. أما مستوى الرضا عن الحياة عند كبير السن فمتوسط. وتُوجد علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الشعور بالسعادة والرضا عن الحياة عند كبار السن. Abstract: The current study aimed to identify the relationship between feelings of happiness and life satisfaction among the elderly. It also sought to determine the level of happiness and satisfaction among the elderly. The opportunistic sample of this correlation descriptive study consisted of 70 retired elderly aged 60 years and above. The study tools were The true Happiness List prepared by Martin Seligman and Christopher Peterson (2002) and adapted by Bachir Maamria, life satisfaction scale prepared by Majdi Mohammed Al-Desouki. The results of the study are: - The level of happiness among the elderly is high. - The level of life satisfaction among the elderly is average. - There is a statistically significant relationship between feelings of happiness and life satisfaction among the elderly.
