Abstract
ملخص الدراسة بالعربية:
تناولت الدراسة موضوع "تمثّلات الآخر في مقامات بديع الزمان الهمذاني"، بهدف الكشف عن
الكيفية التي صوّر بها الهمذاني شخصية "الآخر" في نصوصه، وتفكيك المعاني والأفكار الثقافية
والاجتماعية المستترة و ا رء أسلوب السجع والفكاهة والكدية .
واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الثقافي مستعينة بآليتيالوصف والتحليل، ممّا ساعد على تجاوُز الق ا رءة
السطحية للنصوص نحو فهمٍ أعمق للأبعاد الفكرية والاجتماعية الكامنة فيها .
وقد خلصتالد ا رسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج، أبرزها: أن "الآخر" في مقامات الهمذاني لم يكن شخصية
عابرة، بل كان مرآةً تعكس تناقضات وص ا رعات المجتمع العباسي في ذلك الوقت. كما أظهرت
الد ا رسة أن الهمذاني استخدم أدوات فنية دقيقة كالسخرية، والحوار، والمفارقة، والتنكر، ليعرّي السلوك
الإنساني وينتقد الواقع، ليصبح النص المقامي في النهاية فضاءً نقدياً وثقافياً واسعاً يعيد رسم صورة
الإنسان بكل اختلافاته وتحولاته .

الملخص باللغة الانجليزية:
The present study examines the theme of "Representations of the 'Other' in the Maqamat of Badi' al-Zaman al-Hamadhani." It aims to uncover how al-Hamadhani portrayed the character of the "Other" within his texts, and to deconstruct the implicit cultural and social meanings concealed beneath the elaborate use of rhymed prose (Saj'), humor, and mendicancy (Kudyah).
Methodologically, the study adopts a Cultural Criticism approach, utilizing the dual mechanisms of description and analysis. This framework facilitates a departure from superficial textual readings, allowing for a profound understanding of the latent intellectual and social dimensions embedded within the texts.
The research yields several key findings, most notably that the "Other" in al-Hamadhani’s Maqamat is not a transient figure, but rather a mirror reflecting the contradictions and socio-cultural conflicts of the Abbasid society during that era. Furthermore, the analysis demonstrates that al-Hamadhani meticulously employed precise artistic devices—such as irony, dialogue, paradox, and disguise—to expose human behavior and critique social reality. Ultimately, the Maqamah text emerges as an expansive critical and cultural space that redraws the image of the human being in all its complexities and transformations.
