Abstract
Abstract Climate variability, the causes of which are difficult to pinpoint, can manifest itself in long periods of drought with negative effects on the hydrological cycle, the environment and socio- economic activities. One of the major challenges of research on a complex phenomenon such as climate variability is to quantify climate change and its impact on the environment, which may differ from one region to another. This is the reason why we undertooka study of climate variability in the Garaat Et Tarf sub-basin by considering certain parameters of a few stations. The climate of this area is characterized by high variability in time and space and through the studies that we carried out on the data of six stations; it became clear to us that climate change in this region is very important, because we have observed a gradual increase in aridity, accompanied by decrease in precipitation and increase in temperatures. Especially for this region which was dominated by a semi-arid climate, and tends more and more towards aridity and this has had repercussions on the water balance which changes from a deficit state to a more deficient state over time

يمكن أن تتجلى تقلبية المناخ ، التي يصعب تحديد أسبابها ، في فترات طويلة من الجفاف مع آثار سلبية على الدورة الهيدرولوجية والبيئة والأنشطة الاجتماعية - الاقتصادية. يتمثل أحد التحديات الرئيسية للبحث حول ظاهرة معقدة مثل تقلب المناخ في تحديد تغير المناخ وتأثيره على البيئة ، والتي قد تختلف من منطقة إلى أخرى. هذا هو السبب في قيامنا بدراسة التغير المناخي في الحوض الفرعي لقارة وطرف من خلال النظر في معلمات معينة في عدد قليل من المحطات. يتميز مناخ هذه المنطقة بتقلبات عالية في الزمان والمكان ومن خلال الدراسات التي أجريناها على بيانات ست محطات اتضح لنا أن التغير المناخي في هذه المنطقة مهم للغاية ، لأننا لاحظنا زيادة تدريجية في الجفاف مصحوبة بانخفاض في هطول الأمطار وزيادة في درجات الحرارة ، خاصة في هذه المنطقة التي كان يسودها مناخ شبه جاف ، ويميل أكثر فأكثر نحو الجفاف وهذا أثر على التوازن المائي الذي يتغير من حالة عجز. إلى حالة أكثر ضعفًا بمرور الوقت.
