Abstract
Abstract Classroom interaction has occupied quite an important place in the field of second and foreign language teaching and learning; much research has been conducted in this area. Many researchers claim that through classroom interaction knowledge can be constructed and skills can be developed. The dissertation’s main focus is to demonstrate that classroom interaction can be an effective pedagogical strategy to develop the learners’ speaking skill as well as to foster their communication capacity. The analysis of the questionnaires revealed that (95%) of learners and teachers consider classroom interaction as a significant factor which promotes learners’ speaking performance.
