Abstract:
This study seeks to reveal the inspiration of folklore in the Algerian feminist novel, in order to know the motives for evoking this heritage through the novel" Fish Does not Care to Inam Bayoudhe". The use of this heritage ranged from direct employment and reconstruction to create textual evasion that moves it out of the traditional stereotype to openness to other genres in order to give the narrative text an aesthetic value with its semantic loads. Among the popular forms inspired in the novel "Fish Do Not Care" are: folk proverbs, folk costumes, traditional foods and drinks, urban monuments, colloquial dialects, customs and traditions, religious beliefs and rituals.
