Abstract
ABSTRACT
The valley Kais watershed represents a very important part of the Aures region
because of the absence of studies of the quality of the groundwater of this region, makes a
necessity for the knowledge and the preservation of the waters.
The synthesized manuscript presents a set of data that allowed us to make an approach
to the chemical and physical quality of the waters of the Kais Basin.
The water changes chemically in the direction of flow along a magnesium bicarbonate
calcium facies upstream 22.23% to downstream chlorinated sodium water with 77.77%
Pollution by certain chemical elements of anthropic origin (agriculture) represents the
first cause of the mineralization of the waters of the study area.
The waters of Kais Basin are acceptable for potability use.
