Abstract Our study aimed to investigate students’ and teachers’ attitudes towards using British films to enhance students’ pronunciation. The basis of our current study is to prove the effectiveness of using British films on second-year EFL students' pronunciation enhancement at the English Department at Abbes Laghrour khenchela-university. This research was conducted using mixed methods; Qualitative and Quantitative designs, along with a simple descriptive design. Moreover, data were collected from 40 second-year students using questionnaires, and from five teachers in the English department using Interviews. The research results show that the majority of participants are interested in watching British films as they do with British pronunciation. In addition, the findings proved that students and teachers have positive attitudes towards using British films to improve pronunciation since it is considered a motivational tool. Moreover, some English teachers are using film scenes in the classroom and they strongly encourage the idea of involving them in the teaching-learning curriculum. Thus, using British films as a teaching-learning tool has a positive effect on EFL students’ pronunciation, consequently, the research questions are answered and the research hypotheses are effectively confirmed.
