Abstract: Our study entitled "The symbol in the novel of the Holy-adoration of Azzedine Jlaouji" was interested in monitoring the symbols employed by the novelist and finding out the significance of each symbol, relying on a research plan divided into an introduction and two theoretical and applied chapters, we dealt in the entrance: symbolism in modern literature, the first chapter: we dealt with the symbol and the concept, then we touched on the levels As for the second chapter, in which we deal with the manifestations of the symbol in the novel of Holy adoration and the significance of each symbol, and this phenomenon has been a remarkable presence celebrated by the novel.
