Abstract
Abstract The current study aimed at investigatingstudents„attitudes of using new technologies to developspeaking skill. In order to achieve the studys‟ goal, the given information was collected through the use of questionnaire for both teachers and the first year students of English.besides that ,the data were descriptively analyzed. The gathered results showed that the use of new technologies especially Duolingo may be is revealed to be a suitablesolution to increasing students' motivation in speaking skill. likewise , the results of the analysis of both teachers' and students' questionnairesindicated that both of them had positive views towards the integration of new technologies (Duolingo) in the teaching learning process, as it would be enjoyable, motivating and effective learning method. Consequently, EFL learners should to be pushed up by amotivationaland effective techniques and tools to develop their speaking performance as well as to motivate them and create an enjoyable learning atmosphere where they can use the target language freely. In order to that, students will learn better as well as speak English spontaneously and fluently.
