Abstract
Résumé :
Dans ce mémoire de fin d’études, nous avons abordé la question de la chanson comme support
éducatif qui a été mis à contribution dans l’amélioration de la compréhension orale du français
langue étrangère chez les élèves de la quatrième année primaire. En adoptant une approche
didactique, nous nous sommes basés, dans la première partie de notre travail, sur les notions
théoriques relatives à la compréhension orale ainsi que ceux qui concernent la chanson dans
l’environnement éducatif. Dans la deuxième partie qui sera réservée à l’aspect pratique de notre
recherche, nous avons empiriquement procédé par une expérimentation pour répondre à la question
problématique posée. Les résultats obtenus ont révélé que la chanson possède un réel intérêt
éducatif qui consiste à motiver les apprenants, mais aussi et surtout, elle permettrait d’optimiser de
la mémorisation et d’améliorer la compréhension orale.

Abstract:
Throughout this dissertation, we have tackled the significance of incorporating songs as an
educational means to improve learners’, of 4th year primary schools, listening comprehension of
French as a foreign language. We have adapted a didactical approach, which was used as platform
throughout the first section of this work. Based on a diversified set of theoretical notions that are
related to listening comprehension and that are mainly concerned with using songs within
educational realm. The second part, however, was preserved for the analytical discussion of the
already stated question. The findings obtained we get prove that songs have a fruitful educative role
that motivates learners; especially, the way it enhances memorization and listening skills.
