Abstract
AbstractI The present study aims at investigating the attitudes of EFL learners about the role of culture diversity on improving the learner‟s performance to acquire English as a foreign language. first year master degree student were taken as a case study. For accomplishing he work, a prescriptive research method has been conducted, which took place during the academic year (2018/2019), focused on describing learners‟ attitudes towards the role of culture diversity on improving the learners‟ performance in acquiring English as a foreign language . For that reason, to collect the research data needed, a questionnaire was distributed to students. Analysis and discussion of the results have shown that learning about different cultural background significantly improves first year master degree learners‟ performance in acquiring English as a foreign language .accordingly, it is recommended that EFL teachers should be in touch with culture diversity and become aware and accept different cultural backgrounds and encourage tolerance about the others‟ cultures ,and specifically its role and importance for enriching learners language repertoire as regard intellectual capacity and performance. Culture diversity should equally be incorporated in teaching materials.
