| dc.description.abstract | الملخص: سنحاول من خلال هذه الدراسة الموسومة ب دور المترجمين العسكريين في الجزائر المستعمرة أن نقدم للباحثين الدور الذي لعبه هؤلاء في تسهيل عملية التواصل بين الفرنسيين والأهالي الجزائريين، مشيرين لنماذج عن هؤلاء المترجمين الذين ذاع سيطهم وتركوا بصمتهم بأعمالهم، خاصة أن التواصل بين الفرنسيين والأهالي كان يحتاج لوسيط ثقافي. Through this study, entitled "The Role of Military Interpreters in Colonial Algeria", we aim to present to researchers the role played by these individuals in facilitating communication between the French and the Algerian population. We will highlight examples of well-known interpreters who made a mark through their work, especially given that communication between the French and the locals required a cultural intermediary. | |
