Abstract
Résumé
Les caractéristiques morphométriques et hydrologique d’un bassin versant déterminent son
temps de réponse face aux évènements pluvieux, ainsi qu’une meilleure gestion des
ressources en eau superficielles et souterraines. Dans la présente étude, il est question de
déterminer les caractéristiques morphométriques et hydrologiques du bassin versant
d’Oued Meskiana, ceci dans l’optique d’une meilleure connaissance des paramètres
morphométriques influençant son fonctionnement hydrologique. Pour y parvenir, l’étude
s’est appuyée sur l’analyse d’un modèle numérique de terrain (MNT) faite à base par le
système d'information géographique (Arc Gis).Il résulte de cette analyse morphométrique
et hydrologique, que ce bassin versant a un relief très fort avec une forme allongée au
regard de la valeur de l’indice de Gravelius (2,24), du rapport circularité (0,19), du rapport
d’allongement (0,042) et du facteur de forme (0,0057). Pour ce qui est des paramètres
linéaires, le bassin est caractérisé par une très grossière densité du drainage de l’ordre de
(0,30 km/km2).
Abstract:
The morphometric and hydrological characteristics of a catchment area determine its
response time to rainfall events, as well as a better management of surface and
groundwater resources. In the present study, the morphometric and hydrological
characteristics of the Oued Meskiana catchment area are determined, with a view to
improving knowledge of the morphometric parameters influencing its hydrological
functioning. To achieve this, the study relied on the analysis of a digital terrain model
(DTM) based on the geographic information system (Arc Gis), which shows that this
watershed has a very strong relief with an elongated shape with regard to the value of the
Gravelius index (2.24), the circularity ratio (0.19), the elongation ratio (0.042) and the
form factor (0.0057). As for the linear parameters, the basin is characterised by a very
coarse drainage density of the order of (0.30 km/km2).

تحدد الخصائص المورفومترية والهيدرولوجية للأحواض المائية وقت استجابة هذه الأخيرة لأحداث هطول الأمطار، فضلاً عن إدارة أفضل لموارد المياه السطحية والجوفية. في هذه الدراسة، يتعلق الأمر بتحديد الخصائص المورفومترية
أدائه
والهيدرولوجية لحوض واد مسكيانة، وذلك من منظور معرفة أفضل بالمعايير الشكلية التي تؤثر على الهيدرولوجي. ولتحقيق ذلك، وبالاعتماد على تحليل نموذج التضاريس الرقمي ( (DEM) الذي تم إجراؤه على أساس نظام المعلومات الجغرافية (ARCGIS). نتج عن هذا التحليل المورفومتري والهيدرولوجي أن حوض المياه موضوع الدراسة يتميز بتضاريس ذات ارتفاع قوي مشكل ممدود وذلك بالنظر لقيمة مؤشر (GRAVILUS) و الذي يقدر ب:2.24, نسبة الدائرية (0.19) نسبة الاستطالة (0.042) و نسبة الشكل (0.0057). من حيث الخصائص الخطية نجد بان كثافة تصريف رديئة جدا تصل إلى (0.30 كم / كم 2).
