Abstract
Abstract : This study aimed to uncover the role of’Generation Z among students Abdelhak rafik brarhi University in Khenchela in reshaping the digital narrative of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip through social media platforms. Belonging to descriptive research, the study adopted the survey method (media audience survey) and utilized a digital questionnaire distributed to a purposive sample of (100) university students who actively follow and interact with the events. Theoretically, the study is grounded in "Media Fr”ming’Theory” to understand how traditional media frames are deconstructed and alternative ones are constructed. The study yielded several key results, most notably: a high density of usage and continuous monitoring of the Gaza aggression by the respondents, with “TikTok” and “Instagram” emerging as the most preferred communication platforms for Generation Z. Furthermore, the findings revealed that the sample members did not confine themselves to passive content consumption; rather, they actively contributed to producing and redistributing digital assets (particularly short videos and transnational hashtags) to convey human suffering and expose the bias of the Western narrative. The results also indicated that the respondents possessed a high level of technical literacy, enabling them to bypass platform algorithms and counter the shadow-banning imposed on Palestinian content, thereby playing a pivotal role in formulating an alternative, fairer, and more impactful global digital narrative
