Abstract
Abstract
Alzheimer's disease is a neurodegenerative disease of brain tissue that causes
progressive and lasting deterioration of cognitive functions, due to specific
neuropathological lesions. It is the most common cause of dementia and represents a real
public health problem. It is a complex and multifactorial disease, which means that several
factors influence the risk of its occurrence. In this memory, we are interested in the
pathophysiological description of Alzheimer's disease, its symptoms and its evolution,
genetic and environmental factors, diagnoses and the therapeutic method used to care for
people with this disease
