The emergence of this Maqamat had a clear impact on the movement of Arabic literature until later times, and when this art arrived in Morocco, its importance did not stop at the point of treating the topics. Linguistic, grammatical, preaching and creative, and many aspects of social and economic life were reflected in it. The Maghreb writer was only able to draw, through his Maqāmī art, a clear-cut picture of Maghreb society with its positives and negatives.
