Abstract
Abstract
In this investigation, we have tried through the technique of respirometry to characterize the
effect of organic amendments (straw, manure) on the kinetics of mineralization of soil organic
carbon. The experience was realized on a silty soil in controlled condition (T=28°C) on an
incubation period of 21 days, a dose of 5% of two organic matter was incorporated into the
soil.
The results obtained reveal a favorable effect of organic amendments (straw and manure) on
the amount of carbon released mineral. Any time he pointed out that the best kinetics of
mineralization was observed in the treatment ground - straw or we note a mineralization rate
The dual observed in the soil system manure (284,69% - 140,81).
It would be very interesting, to continue this study on a longer period and to study the effect
of the chemical composition and biochemical characterization of the organic matter
incorporated.
