dc.description.abstractAbstract This study was carried out in khenchela secondary schools to determine teachers' perceptions towards content and language integrated learning(CLIL) in Khenchela secondary schools. A qualitative data from teachers’ interviews were collected and analysed using SWOT analysis. Results revealed that all interviewed teachers were eager to improve in the specific areas to teach using the CLIL methodology since they all acknowledged the importance of English language. Nevertheless, teachers and students' insufficient level of language preparedness could be a threat to implementing the CLIL methodology, which could eventually prevent them from attaining the required level.
