Abstract
ABSTRACT
Recently, listening as one of the most essential skills has been given more attention due to the
significant role in teaching language learning. Consequently students need to enhance their
listening skills by using authentic materials videos. The purpose of this study was to
investigate the effect of the use of videos on improving listening skill of EFL learners and its
impact on second year LMD students at university of khenchela in the department of English.
The descriptive research design uses a quantitative instrument to accomplish the objective of the
study, employing a questionnaire to students. The results reveal that most students have positive
attitudes toward the use of videos as a tool to develop listening skill.
