dc.description.abstractEn dialoguant avec la littérature, la linguistique et les sciences humaines et sociales, Germaine Tillion fait de ses recherches ethnologiques de terrain, en particulier sur l’Aurès, l’instrument d’une patiente interrogation sur le moi et le semblable. Elle tente de saisir celui-ci dans sa diversité culturelle et ethnique. Au de-là de l’analyse savante, son terrain devient un récit de vie dialogué, transversal, reliant le vécu individuel aux connaissances empiriques. Nous essaierons de mettre en lumière cette dimension tout en la confrontant avec deux notions : le regard et la compréhension. In dialogue with literature, linguistics and the human and social sciences, Germaine Tillion used her ethnological fieldwork, particularly in the Aurès region, as a tool for a patient interrogation of the self and the fellow man. She tried to grasp the latter in its cultural and ethnic diversity. Beyond scholarly analysis, her fieldwork becomes a dialogical, transversal life story, linking individual experience to empirical knowledge. We will try to highlight this dimension while confronting it with two notions: the gaze and understanding.
