Abstract
Abstract
Our study focuses on the physico-chemical and bacteriological quality of the waters of the
Elsbekha (Wetland) in the region of El-Mahmel East of the city of Khenchela, This Sebkha
which constitutes the only Westland in the region and which Is characterized by a great
biodiversity. The field mission revealed the catastrophic situation that suffered this area from
the diversion of untreated wastewater in it. We have prepared a protocol to investigate the
water quality of the Sebkha, but the COVID19 pandemic has prevented the completion of
This practice part.
In the light of subsequent studies we found that a security perimeter must be established
around the sebkha to prevent the migration of pollutants and That the installation of a water
treatment plant Is essential before things go worse.
الملخص
تركز دراستنا على الجودة الفيزيائية والكيميائية والبكتريولوجية لمياه مستنقعات السبيخة في منطقة المحمل شرق مدينة خنشلة، هذه السبيخة التي تشكل الأراضي الرطبة الوحيدة في المنطقة والتي تتميز بتنوع بيولوجي كبير. كشفت البعثة الميدانية الوضع الكارثي الذي عانت منه هذه المنطقة من تحويل مياه الصرف الصحي غير المعالجة فيها. لقد أعددنا بروتوكولا للتحقق من جودة مياه السبخة، لكن وباء كورونا تسبب في عدم إكمال الجزء العملي.
في ضوء الدراسات اللاحقة وجدنا أنه يجب إنشاء محيط أمني حول السبخة لمنع انتقال الملوثات وأن تركيب محطة معالجة المياه أمر ضروري قبل أن تسوء الأمور.
