Abstract
Abstract This research aims to investigate the use of translation to enhance EFL students’ cultural awareness at Abbes Laghrour University. Translation is a very important approach in which students should be aware of and master, this study is consisted with two major questions to outline EFL teachers’ and students’ point of view toward translation. We have adopted a descriptive research methodology and a one data collection tool: two questionnaires assigned for fifteen teachers and fifty nine students. The discussion and the results revealed the effectiveness of translation in improving EFL learners’ cultural awareness.
