    Inventaire Systématique des Culicidae dans la région de Khenchela

    Abstract In order to improve our knowledge on the biological diversity of mosquitoes,we conducted the study in two areas of Al-Rumaila - Hammam Al-Salihin,wheretwostations(artificialandnatural)wereidentifiedandwefollowedthemregularly.for4months(MarchtoJune2022),takingaseriesofsamplesinthetwostations:BassindeRemilaandHammamEssalihine,wherewefoundseveraldifferentvarietiesoftheCulicidaefamily,whicharedividedinto 4species:Culiseta,longiareolataandOrthropodomyia,PulchripalpisandAedesAlbopictusandUranotaeniaunguiculata,belongingto4genera:Culiseta,Orthropodomyia,Orthropodomyia.Culisetalongiareolataismoreprevalent in the artificial aquarium, while the natural aquarium contains onlytwospecies,AedesAlbopictusandUranotaeniaunguiculata.Duringthephysical and chemical analyzes of the water in which the larvae are found, wefound that the place with a large number of larvae is characterized by lowacidityand high temperature.
