Item Anticancer activity of cyanobacteria(Université Abbes Laghrour -Khenchela-, 2023) Boussalem Chahinaze; Sabeg Dounia; Sabeg Meriem; Encadreur: Benredjem LamiaCyanobacteria are photosynthetic Gram-negative prokaryotic organisms called "blue-green algae". The classification of cyanobacteria is mainly based on morphological, ecological and ultra-structural characteristics as well as molecular characteristics. Modern biology methods, especially genetic procedures, have significantly changed their classification criteria, but the problem with this approach is that the results do not always conform to traditional criteria. Cyanobacteria are widely used in the medical field, and among their uses is anticancer activity. The anticancer activity of cyanobacteria is to produce metabolites that kill cancer cells, with different types of metabolites, different target cells, and different ways of killing a cancer cell. Among the cyanobacteria known to produce anticancer metabolites Lyngbya bouillonii, L. majuscula and Symploca sp. whose belamide a is produced by Symploca sp. targets cell cycle arrest, tubulin, and Lyngbyabellin J produced by L. bouillonii. Targets actin, mitochondrial dysfunction, and oxidative damage Item Exposition Résidentielle Aux Pesticides Et Cancers : Etude Méta-Analyse(Université Abbes Laghrour -Khenchela-, 2020-09-15) Sabeg Meriem; Ouanassi Khaoula; Encadreur: MASSINISSA.YAbstract: Cancer is a disease resulting from genetic alterations occurring in cells of multiple organs in the human body. Several agents are responsible for different types of cancer, including chemical carcinogens that occur while the exposition to pesticides. In this study, we used the meta-analysis method. Our findings demonstrate that have succeeded in studying and demonstrating the relationship between the use of pesticides and the development of cancer. To do this, we used RevMan 5.3 software. The statistic results of our study indicate a real association between exposure to pesticides and childhood cancer (RR = 6.55; CI = [6.39-6.71]; p <0.00001), breast cancer (RR = 1.10; CI = [1.08-1.13]; p <0.00001), prostate (RR = 0.78; CI = [0.75-0.82]; p <0, 00001) and pancreas carcinomas (RR = 1.11; CI = [1.07-1.16]; p <0.00001). In addition, a real and significant association exists between exposure to pesticides and the appearance of brain cancer (RR = 0.97; CI = [0.96-0.99]; p <0.00001), melanoma (RR = 0.92; CI = [0.88-0.97]; p <0.003), colon (RR = 1.70; CI = [1.47-1.96]; p <0, 00001), non-Hodgkin lymphoma (RR = 0.87; CI = [0.84-0.89]; p <0.00001), and various other types of cancer. This is not the case for bladder cancer for which no significant correlation with the use of pesticides was found (P = 0.15).Item Exposition Résidentielle Aux Pesticides Et Cancers : Etude Méta-Analyse(Université Abbes Laghrour -Khenchela-, 2020-09-15) Sabeg Meriem; Ouanassi Khaoula; Encadreur-MASSINISSA.YCancer is a disease resulting from genetic alterations occurring in cells of multiple organs in the human body.
