Item Examining EFL Teachers’ Perceptions: EFL Students’ Digital Literacy and Project Based Approach (PBA)(Ichkalat journal, 2023) Ounis SalimAbstract This study was carried out to examine the role of project-based learning (PjBL) in maximizing students’ digital literacy in secondary schools of Khenchela. The main objectives were to check EFL teacher’s attitudes towards the role of PjBL in recent digitalized education. A primary concern is to examine carefully the impact of PjBL in enhancing students’ digital literacy in Algerian Secondary education. Quantitative and qualitative data were gathered from EFL teachers using both a questionnaire and interview. The findings of the study revealed that teachers hold a positive attitude towards the valuable role of PjBL in fostering learners’ digital literacy.Item The Impact of Online Platforms in Enhancing Learners’ Cultural Competence(eddissi languages journal, 2022) Ounis SalimAbstract Remarkably, Algerian higher education is witnessing a revolutionary massive digital shift, wherein various online platforms; such as Google Classroom, were designed rationally to facilitate electronic learning, to meet the needs of digital native learners (An & Mindrila, 2020) and to foster learners’ 21st century skills and competencies mainly the cultural competence. however, only few recent studies have prospectively examined the effectiveness of online platforms in enhancing learners’ cultural competence in Algerian higher education, the lack of research on this topic has prompted an urgent need to investigate carefully the impact of online platforms in enhancing EFL learners’ cultural competence ( Azhar et al.,2018), questioning to what extent online platforms maximize learners’ cultural competence, taking the case study of Algerian higher education in khenchela, wherein the participants were 1st year EFL students Master Degree at Abbes Lghrour university, worthy noted that the study is carried out after an English course of Teaching Culture via Google classroom online platform, since google classroom is an essential platform for promoting blended learning and professional growth (Iftakhar, 2016).
