    Résumé L’étude que nous avons menée s’inscrit dans le domaine de la psycholinguistique. Elle porte essentiellement sur l’effluence de l’expression bimodale (langue gestualité) el l’effet de geste sur l’acquisition de lexique chez l’enfant trisomique A partir d’une observation participante et l’entretien que nous avons fait avec l’orthophoniste, nous avons mis l’accent sur le rôle de gestualité pour facilite l’acquisition et la compréhension de langage chez l’enfant trisomique Mots clés: l’acquisition, la compréhension, gestualité, langage Abstract The study we conducted is in the field of psycholinguistics. It focuses on the effluence of bimodal expression (gestuality language) and the effect of gesture on the acquisition of lexicon in children with Down syndrome Based on a participant observation and the interview we did with the speech therapist, we focused on the role of gestures to facilitate language acquisition and understanding in children with Down syndrome.
