    Abstract In this scientific topic, we discussed how solid waste is managed and the most important methods and processes for its treatment in specialized centers and its impact on the environment. As an example we chose the backfill technical centre of the municipality of Baghaï , where we conducted an experimental study to identify the most important operations carried out by the centre in waste management and the important problems faced by experts and technology in management and breakdown of device and machines, as for the collection, sorting, backfill operations they are far from satisfactory, and burning hospital waste has a negative and dangerous impact on the environment due to the lack of preparation for the centre with absence of the all of the operations composting , recycling. Treatment of lixiviat was launched only a few months ago. Thus, the role of the centre lies in reducing waste and pollution, but the absence of good and organized management affects the opposite on nature and man. ملخص تطرقنا في هذا الموضوع العلمي عن كيفية تسيير النفايات الصلبة وأهم طرق وعمليات معالجتها في المراكز المتخصصة وتأثيرها على البيئة ومثال على ذلك اخترنا المركز الردم التقني لبلدية بغاي حيث قمنا بإجراء دراسة تجريبية للتعرف على أهم العمليات التي يقوم بها المركز لتسيير النفايات واهم المشاكل التي يواجهها كغياب الخبرة والتكنولوجيا في التسيير، غياب وتعطل في الأجهزة و الآلات بالنسبة لعمليات الجمع ، الفرز، الردم فهي بعيدة أن تكون مرضية وحرق النفايات الاستشفائية له تأثير سلبي خطير على البيئة لعدم وجود التهيئة المناسبة للمركز، وغياب كل من عمليات التسميد وإعادة تدوير النفايات، ومعالجة عصارة النفايات انطلقت منذ شهور فقط. وبالتالي يمكن دور المركز الردم التقني في التقليل من النفايات والتلوث ولكن في غياب التسيير الحسن والمنظم يؤثر بالعكس على الطبيعة والإنسان.
