An isoflavane and saponins from Astragalus depressus L
    (2015) LEYLA MAAMRIA
In this study, nine known secondary metabolites were isolated from ethyl acetate and n-butanol extracts of Astragalus depressus L. (Fabaceae family), including one isoflavane, namely pendulone (1) and eight saponins, namely cyclogaleginoside A (2), astrasieversianin II (3), astrasieversianin IV (4), astrasieversianin VIII (5), astrasieversianin VI (6), astrasieversianin XIV (7), dehydrosoyasaponin I (8) and soyasaponin I (9). The structures of compounds 1–9 were elucidated by spectroscopic methods, including 1D and 2D NMR, ESI mass spectrometry and comparison with literature data.

    (Phytochemistry Letters, 2015-01-31) LEYLA MAAMRIA
Six new cycloartane-type triterpene glycosides named 3-O-[b-D-glucopyranosyl(1 ! 2)-b-D-xylopyr- anosyl]-3b,16b,23(R),24(R),25-pentahydroxycycloartane (1), 3-O-[b-D-glucopyranosyl(1 ! 2)-b-Dxylopyranosyl]- 3b,16b,23(R),24(R)-tetrahydroxy-25-dehydrocycloartane (2), 3-O-[b-D-xylopyrano- syl]-6a-acetoxy-23a-methoxy-16b,23(R)-epoxy-24,25,26,27-tetranorcycloartane (3), 3-O-[b-D-xylo- pyranosyl]-6a-acetoxy-23a-butoxy-16b,23(R)-epoxy-24,25,26,27-tetranorcycloartane (4), 3-O-[b-Dglucopyranosyl( 1 ! 2)]-b-D-xylopyranosyl]-6a-acetoxy-23a-methoxy-16b,23(R)-epoxy-24,25,26,27- tetranorcycloartane (5), 3-O-[b-D-glucopyranosyl(1 ! 2)]-b-D-xylopyranosyl]-23a-methoxy-16b,23(R)- epoxy-4,25,26,27-tetranorcycloartane (6), in addition to three known secondary metabolites consisting of another cycloartane triterpene glycoside and two flavonol glycosides, were isolated from the aerial parts of Astragalus gombo Coss. & Dur. (Fabaceae). The structures of the isolated compounds were established by spectroscopic methods, including 1D and 2D-NMR, mass spectrometry and comparison with literature data.
