    Résumé : Notre recherche s'inscrit dans le domaine de la didactique, elle se centre sur le rôle du bilinguisme sur le fonctionnement cognitif chez les étudiants du première année master français. Cette étude montre les avantages du bilinguisme et ses effets cognitifs. Ce travail se compose de deux parties : le premier est théorique, elle est devisée en deux chapitres « cadre théorique historique / bilinguisme et cognition », et la deuxième partie forme la pratique qui comporte un seul chapitre qui traite l’observation et l’analyse des résultats de l’expérimentation Abstract: Our research is part of the field of didactics, it focuses on the role of bilingualism on cognitive functioning among first-year French master's students. This study shows the benefits of bilingualism and its cognitive effects. This work consists of two parts: the first is theoretical, it is divided into two chapters "historical theoretical framework / bilingualism and cognition", and the second part forms the practice which includes a single chapter which deals with observation and analysis. of the results of the experiment.
