Analyse morphométriques et influence sur l’écoulement du sous-bassin de Merdjazana(07-02) (Hauts Plateaux Constantinois, Algérie)
(Université Abbes Laghrour -Khenchela-, 2022) GHOUAIZI KHADIDJA; HAMIDI MARWA ET; KADRI NABILA
Abstract: Water is by far the most abundant element on our planet and the essential material for living beings. The study of rainfall processes in arid and semi-arid regions no longer needs to be demonstrated, given that water is the primary limiting factor there. Thus, a good knowledge of the rainfall distribution both in time and in space, is essential to identify on the one hand the critical periods of floods. In the absence of data on the flow in the MERDJAZANA watershed and to estimate the liquid and solid contributions and calculate the flood flows corresponding to the return periods of 5,10,20,50 and 100 years, a morphometric analysis and hydroclimatic using the geographic information system are empirical models is performed. It results from this analysis, that the MERDJAZANA sub-watershed has an elongated shape with a very strong relief, the hydrographic network does not present numerous ramifications, The surface (1034.26km2), Perimeter (17.016km), the liquid contributions are around 11 Mm3 and 58.95 Mm3, ten-year and hundred-year flood flows can reach 1666.96 and 5354 m3/s successively.
