Contrôle de la qualité des eaux souterraines de la plaine de Fkirina W. d’Oum El Bouaghi
(Université Abbes Laghrour -Khenchela-, 2021-07-14) Chekhab Abir; Massaoudi Nadjet
Abstract The objective of this study is the knowledge and control of the groundwater quality of the Fkirina plain with a comparative temporal study. Physic o-chemical analyses were carried out on samples of water taken from some boreholes used for human consumption. Results have shown that there is a problem in water quality this relates more particularly to conductivity (mineralization), total hardness The study of pollution parameters showed that there was an excess in the concentration of nitrates as well as sodium and sulphate. This can probably be due to agricultural activity and the excessive use of chemical fertilizers the uncontrolled discharge of domestic discharges, the uncontrolled discharge of wastewater to wadis… etc. For this purpose, continuous water quality assessment is imperative and treatment to reduce water quality deterioration and eliminate health problems may be necessary
