    Étude de la qualité des eaux épurées par la STEP de Kais (Wilaya de Khenchela) et possibilité de leur recyclage en irrigation des terres agricoles

    Abstract The present study consists in evaluating the quality of the treatment of the STEP of the city of Kais over the period spread out from 2020 to March 2022.The results obtained showed that the removal efficiency was satisfactory for particulate matter and organic matter (93% for SS, 94%, and 91% respectively for BOD5 and COD). The reduction rate of nitrogen and phosphorus compounds is considered medium to low. The current results of the parameters measured are satisfactory, but daily monitoring is lacking for all parameters, as well as toxicity parameters to ensure that agricultural land is not polluted
