Abstract: The aim of this study is to verify the physico-chemical quality of the waters and to make an inventory of two species of water birds), the Pink Flamingo and the Belon Shelduck in the wet zone of Sebkhet El-Mahmel, wilaya Khenchela. We have, physicochemical analyzes (pH, eclectic conductivity, temperature, calcium, magnesium, chloride, bicarbonate, sulfates, nitrate) of the water were carried out in the laboratory EURL SID, in the wilaya of Khenchela The physicochemical characterization of Sebkha waters has exposed that the water is cloudy, too salty, the electrical conductivity is high (80300 μS / cm) and the pH is slightly alkaline (7.95). From these results, it appears that the waters of this zone are polluted and unfit for irrigation. As a result, the inventory of the flamingo and shelduck of Belon in the Sebkha of El-Mahmel during three months, from March to May 2018, revealed to us a very weak staff.
