    Medicinal plants are an inexhaustible and diversified source of secondary metabolites, which have several applications: pharmaceutical, medical, agri-food, agronomic and biotechnological. These metabolites are at the origin of several biological activities such as antibacterial activity, antioxidant, anti-carcinogenic and anti-inflammatory activity. It is in this perspective that we are interested in antibacterial activity of three medicinal plants (Olea europea L, Eucalyptus globulus and Silybum marianum) from the region of Khenchela, Algeria. الملخص تشكل النباتات الطبية مصدرًا لا ينضب ومتنوع من المستقلبات الثانوية ، والتي لها العديد من الاستعمالات: الصيدلانية والطبية والزراعية و في ميدان التكنولوجيا الحيوية. هذه المستقلبات الثانوية هي مصدر العديد من الأنشطة البيولوجية مثل النشاط المضاد للبكتيريا ومضادات الأكسدة والمضادة للسرطان والمضادة للالتهابات. ومن هذا المنطلق ، كان اهتمامنا بالنشاط المضاد للبكتيريا لثلاث نباتات طبية وهي شجرة الزيتون، الأوكالبتوس وحليب الشوك من منطقة خنشلة ، الجزائر.
