ESTIMATION DE LA VULNERABILITE DES EAUX SOUTERRAINES A LA POLLUTION AGRICOLE EN ZONE SEMI-ARIDE : CAS DE LA PLAINE DE F’KIRINA (OUM EL BOUAGHI – ALGÉRIE)
(Université Abbes Laghrour -Khenchela-, 2018) BOUCHEMA Nadir; GHEZAL Abdelhamid
Abstract The Fkirina plain located at the southeastern end of the Wilaya of Oum-El Bouaghi, on the edge of the Constantine high plains covering an area of 650 Km 2 , represents a priority economic resource because it is used in areas of irrigation and domestic consumption. The area of the aquifer is mainly occupied by agricultural areas characterized by an increasing use of chemical fertilizers, in addition to industrial discharges, which represent a permanent risk for the quality of the groundwater. The study of the vulnerability to pollution of this layer has been carried out by applying standard DRASTIC and SI methods in a GIS environment. The comparison of the vulnerability maps obtained shows that the results are very different in terms of recovery rate, but that they have a degree of similarity in the space. At the level of the representation of the vulnerability, the SI method makes it possible to obtain a finer information.
