    Aptitude des eaux épurées de la STEP de Khenchela à l’irrigation

    ABSTRACT : The reuse of wastewater is a growing technique, mainly associated with agriculture. Many technical solutions possible to meet the existing recycling standards, particularly with WHO and Algerien guidelines. The irrigation by treated wastewater has positive effects by riching the soil of nutrients as well as negative effects like the salinization of soil surface horizons and influencing the physico-chemical properties of the soil. Our study at the wastewater treatment plant of Khenchela to show that the purified waste water of this resort are adequate for reuse in agriculture but with conditions and well defined practices.
